• 2013 Beale St Music Fest line up set


    A little over two months away, organizers released the line up of artists that will be performing at the annual Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival.

    The acts span various styles of music from Grammy winners The Black Keys, The Roots, ZZ Top, Sheryl Crow, 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Public Enemy, Jerry Lee Lewis, Alice in Chains, The Wallflowers, Daryl Hall and John Oates, Dwight Yoakam, Gov't Mule, Bassnectar, Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Clark Jr., Patti Smith, Memphis products Al Kapone and Will Tucker, Mavis Staples, Big Boi (Outkast), The Flaming Lips, Jimbo Mathus (Squirrel Nut Zippers) and The Tri-State Coalition, Deftones, The Smashing Pumpkins, Three Days Grace, Gavin Degraw, and several others.

    The 2013 Beale Street Music Festival takes place Friday-Sunday May 3-5 at Tom Lee Park in Downtown Memphis on the banks of the Mississippi, a stone's throw from Beale Street.

    Three-day tickets to the weekend festival remain on sale but are priced at $85. Pre-sale tickets went on sale in November 2012.
