Shelby County Mayor's Office is now accepting applications for those
who would like to be part of the Shelby County Citizens' University.
"The ten-week course is held on Thursday evenings. Citizens get a behind the scenes look at how county government works and how their tax dollars are spent," says Mayor Mark H. Luttrell, Jr.
The first session of the ten-week course will be held on Thursday, August 15th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sessions continue on Thursday nights with graduation on October 17th, 2013.
