    Wings Cancer Foundation's Wings Ride Promotes Cancer Awareness
    The event promotes a Healthy Lifestyle among Cancer Survivors.  14 Guys, 5 Days and 500 Miles!!! On Friday, September 28, 2012 the Wings Ride team will depart on a 500 mile cycling charity event from The West Clinic, 100 N. Humphreys Blvd., Memphis, TN 38120 to Rosemary Beach, Florida (town center) promoting cancer awareness, encouraging a healthy lifestyle
    and raising funds for Wings Cancer Foundation's Wellness Program. The Wings Ride begins in Memphis, TN continuing on through Tupelo, Mississippi, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Selma, Alabama, Andalusia, Alabama, and ending in Rosemary Beach, Florida. Riders along the route are encouraged to join Wings Ride as the team passes through their area to show their support and help raise cancer awareness. 

    Coordinated by the Wolf River Racing Team the Wings Ride team includes; Todd Tillmans, Brian Eason, Chuck Bolton, Jim Wilder, Keith Merriman, Jim Lenschau, Tom Nicholls, John Kakales, Bryon Jones, Jon Ewing, Brad Adkins, Ben Pope, David Jones and Clark Butcher.

    Team leader Dr. Todd Tillmans says, "I am riding for all my past, current and future patients. Through my work I intimately experience the scourge of cancer. I have recognized daily through my patients how cancer will never win, as they choose life. Cancer has a unique way of revealing the glories of life, God, friends and family. I am fortunate to fight alongside my patients as they teach me the most important lessons of life through their fight against cancer."

    The Wings Wellness Program promotes a healthy lifestyle for cancer survivors who have completed treatment through exercise classes and monthly wellness seminars. Wings Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization based in Memphis, Tennessee. Wings mission is to provide hope, education, research and support at no charge to anyone touch by cancer.
