Group Holds Forum To Voice Complaints About The MPD

United Memphis is urging citizens to stand up and speak out if they feel like they got a bad deal from law enforcement.

Wednesday, community members shared their experiences during an open forum held at Caritas Village on Harvard Avenue.

One of the organizers said the comments may seem like bashing, but actually the event is designed to bridge the gap between the law and the people.

You can share your story in one of the nine upcoming community forums.

United Memphis will hand over all complaints to city council who will give them further review.
