MCS to Host School Closure Proposal Public Hearing

Memphis City Schools will host a public hearing at Coro Lake Elementary School tonight from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The purpose of the public hearing is to present a Preliminary Impact Report detailing past and current trends and conditions and to discuss with the public the possibility of merging various student populations. It is important that citizens and staff at the school understand that NO decisions regarding the future of the school have been made yet. The community is encouraged to attend to provide feedback and comments to members of the Shelby County Board of Education.
