• Memphis Symphony Orchestra presents Aloha Elvis®!

Memphis, Tennessee, December 21, 2012—The Memphis Symphony Orchestra is celebrating another birthday anniversary for the late "King of Rock-N-Roll" with its annual Elvis concert. In Aloha Elvis®!, MSO will recreate the 1973 "Aloha from Hawaii" concert for this third POPS show of the season.

This 40th anniversary performance commemorates one of the first shows that was broadcast live via satellite around the world, a show considered the most-watched program featuring an individual entertainer in television history. Terry Mike Jeffrey and band will be joining the symphony for this annual Hawaiian celebration. Jeffrey is a nationally acclaimed vocalist and entertainer. He was musical director and held the leading role for "Elvis—An American Musical."

The concert will take place Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets start at $15, and student tickets are only $5.
