The Sewing into Dreams event weaves art and fashion together. School aged children compete in the Future Fashion Designer Competition to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The winner has their designs created and modeled at the 4th annual Sewing into Dreams Fashion Gala to be held in November.
There are 3 categories to enter:
Children (1st – 5th graders)
Junior (6th -8th graders)
Teen (9th – 12th graders)
Cancer survivor, Lauren Lewis, Designer Kennedy and their mother, Benita, joined GMM to discuss the event. The pictures you see are three collections by 2013 designers.
