Ticket prices to remain the same in both sports in 2013-14
The University of Memphis football and basketball teams take on extremely difficult and challenging schedules in 2013-14 when the Tigers become a member of the BIG EAST Conference. Facing such opponents as Louisville, Cincinnati, Temple, Georgetown, Marquette, Villanova, Connecticut and St. John's among others, Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium and FedExForum will host championship-caliber games with each opponent the Tigers host next year in both sports.
"We feel that it is important to say thank you to our fans and supporters who have remained so loyal to the Tigers over the years," said Athletics Director Tom Bowen. "The fan support and passion for our programs has never wavered and we continue to rank among the nation's attendance leaders in basketball year after year.
"Hopefully, we can give back to our fans by holding the line on ticket prices in both football and basketball as we move to the BIG EAST Conference next year," Bowen continued. "We fully expect that the FedExForum will take on the electrifying atmosphere of an NCAA Tournament game with each game played next season."
