Sooooo, we are looking at rain moving in overnight and during rush hour Thursday morning. Halloween daytime should be pretty nasty at times with locally heavy rain and possibly pea-sized hail in embedded thunderstorms. Dress for a windy and wet day into the evening hours.
One to 3 inches of rain may accumulate, generating ponding on roadways and plenty of puddles to dodge IF your little ones venture out for trick-or-treating. The evening does look messy with rain continuing through early evening. The heaviest rain should move out by 8 p.m. Thursday night. (And as a mom to two candy-crazed kids, as long as there is no severe warning/watch in my county and there are NO lightning strikes around ... we will be knocking on doors in rain gear).
