• White Station beats Hamilton 76-71

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Two local powerhouses played on a national stage as White Station High School beat Hamilton High School 76-71 on ESPNU as a part of Penny Hardaway's Hoopfest.

The game featured numerous players with Division-I commitments or dreams. White Station has three seniors who will play at the next level: point guard Chris Chiozza is committed to Florida, guard Davell Roby will play at SLU and forward Leron Black is headed to Illinois.

All three played well, particularly Black, who showed off a jumper from midrange and beyond the three-point line.

Despite the loss, the future is bright at Hamilton. Junior KJ Lawson (a Memphis commit) excelled throughout the game. His brother, sophomore Dedric Lawson, also held his own against the elite talent.
