Chloe Morroni is an Emmy Award winning journalist who has won dozens of awards for her work in broadcasting. She has accomplished a lot in her two decades in local news, including interviews with some interesting people. Just to name a couple, Chloe got a one-on-one interview with President Barack Obama during his re-election campaign in 2012. She also had the opportunity to travel to New York City and go behind the scenes with Dr. Oz for a taping of his popular TV show.
Chloe joined the FOX13 news team in March of 2016. She can be seen anchoring weekend evening newscasts as well as reporting during the week. Before coming to Memphis, Chloe was a Weekend Anchor and Reporter for WBBH/WZVN in her hometown of Fort Myers, Florida. Previously, she was the Primary Anchor at WHBF-TV in the Quad Cities of Illinois/Iowa, Weekend Morning Anchor at WISN-TV in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor at WVLT-TV and a Reporter for WATE-TV, both in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her first on air reporting job was at WSIL-TV, in Carterville, Illinois. Chloe began her career working behind the scenes at Waterman Broadcasting in Fort Myers.
Chloe graduated from Ursinus College, outside of Philadelphia, PA, with a double major in English and Communications. She played college volleyball and was active in her sorority, Phi Alpha Psi. Chloe is an animal lover and the proud mother of a beautiful daughter. Chloe met her husband at Waterman Broadcasting in Fort Myers. He too is a journalist, so they’re pretty sure their little one will be on the news desk someday!
