Shelby joined FOX13 news in June 2016 as a reporter and multimedia journalist. She is thrilled to work in the city that she was born in raised in.
Shelby grew up in Collierville and fell in love with reporting while on a field trip with Collierville Elementary School. Her first television appearance was on CHS TV-19 as the host of Collierville High School's morning show "Collierville AM". She graduated from Collierville High and took her love for journalism to the University of Mississippi.
She pursued a broadcast journalism degree at Ole Miss, and immersed herself into the Student Media Center. She also worked at the university's communications department for a year.
During her time in Mississippi, Shelby interned at WTVA in Tupelo, Miss. She fell in love with the small town and ended up working for the station as a weekend reporter. She is a Society of Professional Journalist member and a Delta Gamma Alum. She also won a Mississippi Associated Press award for her work on protests held at the University of Mississippi while at school.
Shelby can't wait to work in the town that made her who she is today. She is excited to learn even more about the Bluff City and experience all it has to offer.
