Memphis, TN - FOX13 has learned firefighters battled a second alarm fire at the Real Value Inn Thursday evening.
The fire happened around 7:45 p.m. in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue.
One female victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital with smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.

Memphis Fire Department said most of those guests were taken to the first floor where it was safe.
Fire investigators said the building did have working smoke alarms. The origin of the fire was determined to be room #216. However, the cause is inconclusive.
Sixteen rooms sustained damage. The damage is estimated at $230,000.
The fire was brought under control in 20 minutes.
