MEMPHIS, Tenn. - As summer quickly approaches, it is strongly recommended that everyone stays hydrated.
A local Kroger store is donating over 1500 cold cases of water Friday, June 2 at 1 p.m. to support those in need.
“We’ve seen many of our customers struggle during this difficult time,” said Scot Hendricks, president Kroger Delta Division. “Even though five Kroger Stores were also without power, we still know the value of serving our customers in need. It is our hope and prayer that all residents will have their power restored soon.”
This is in partnership with local elected officials and community groups.
The store is located at 2269 Lamar Avenue.
Kroger will also host a customer appreciation event for the first 200 customers onsite, providing free hot dogs, fruit, and Coke products.
