A 22-year-old man has been indicted on first-degree murder charges, according to Shelby County Dist. Atty. General Amy Weirich.
Christopher G. Williams is currently being held in the Shelby County Jail without bond.

Williams is accused of killing 39-year-old Anthony Beason on Sept. 4, 2016 in the 1600 block of South Lauderdale.
Williams was also indicted into two aggravated robberies at Family Dollar stores that occurred less than two weeks after the fatal shooting.
He is also indicted on an aggravated assault charge in the first robbery for holding a store employee at gunpoint and threatening to kill her.
