A Memphis bank manager was sentenced to 15 months in jail for embezzling thousands of dollars.
The Department of Justice said in a release, Renwick Chavez, 46, pled guilty in February to stealing the $45,000 in March of 2014, and to embezzling $223,000 from Regions' customers between October 2013 and March 2015.

In addition to jail time, Edwards must pay more than $226,000 in restitution to Regions Bank and serve a three years on supervision after his release from jail.
