Memphis woman accused of stealing fur coats and selling them from her home

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - King Furs and Fine Jewelry told police several fur coats and clothing were taken from the racks in the rear of the business while they were closed.

The total value of clothing and furs taken were estimated between $10,000 and $15,000, according to police.

MPD said the business security alarm went off around 4:20 a.m. last Wednesday. Surveillance shows two suspects enter the business and run to the back.

The video showed them stealing an unknown amount of fur clothing and handing the clothing off to another unknown suspect.

Police received information that Kiesha Bolton was selling the stolen fur clothing from King Furs and Fine Jewelry from her home located at the 1100 block of Greenwood.

Officers searched her home and found three fur coats with King Furs tags valued at $10,600.

Bolton has been taken into custody by MPD.
