• MPD releases photos in Midtown bank robbery


    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Regions Bank Monday afternoon.

    It happened at the 270 North Cleveland location around 12:40 p.m.

    Police said a man stood in line, approached the teller, and demanded money out of the cash drawer.

    The teller complied and gave the man an undetermined amount of money, according to MPD.

    He later fled the scene on foot.
