• One man dead after shooting on Jackson Ave.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - One man is dead following a shooting Saturday afternoon on Jackson Ave.

    MPD confirmed with FOX13 the shooting happened around 4 p.m. in the 4000 block of Jackson Ave. The man who was shot was pronounced dead on the scene.

    Nearly a dozen police cars were on scene investigating while FOX13 was on the scene. 

    An employee at the O'Reilly Auto Parts across the street said a woman ran inside shortly after the shooting screaming a man had been shot. The same employee told FOX13 police officers came inside asking for security footage, however, according to the worker, their aren't any outside camera's anywhere near the homicide scene. 

    No suspect information is available at this point.
