TBI: Missing toddler found safe

MORGAN COUNTY, Tenn. - UPDATE: Erik Monty has been found safe.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Endangered Child Alert for an East Tennessee toddler. 

3-year-old Erik Monty is missing from Morgan County. 

He is 3' tall, 36 lbs. and has blonde hair and blue eyes. 

He was last seen around 11 p.m. Wednesday at a home in Oakdale, Tenn. 

He is believed to be with a 24-year-old man who is a recent boyfriend of the child's mother.

The boyfriend was involved in a domestic violence incident with the mother. 

The mother is now suffering from a serious medical emergency. 

The boyfriend was believed to be intoxicated and possibly injured. Agents said he was reportedly driving the mother and child to the hospital in an older model red Mercedes sedan. 

However, they have not arrived at a hospital. The TBI believes the child is in danger. 

The group could e in Morgan, Roane, Anderson, or Knox County.
