A status hearing for the man accused in the gruesome murder of Jessica Chambers ended in his trial date being pushed back.
27-year-old Quinton Tellis of Courtland, Mississippi will have his trial begin on October 9 in Batesville.

Tellis was previously being held in a Louisiana prison on separate charges.
Jessica was found burned alive on a Panola County back road in 2014. The vicious nature of her murder drew national attention.
Jessica was seen on surveillance video at a gas station a short time before her murder.
