YALOBUSHA COUNTY, Miss. - Two suspects are dead, and an officer is wounded after a shootout in Yalobusha County, Mississippi.
Deputies said two men were killed after starting a shootout with Yalobusha deputies and Water Valley officers around 3:30 a.m. Friday just outside the Water Valley city limits.

A Water Valley police officer was shot and injured.
Officials said one of the men had a shotgun that he used to fire on officers.
Officers and deputies were investigating a burglary prior to the shootout.
A third suspect, Jason Scates, was arrested. Deputies said he was initially with the other two men from the shootout, but split off from them.
He will be charged with possession of burglary tools.
