MEMPHIS, Tenn. - It was a violent 24 hours in Memphis.
It started around 6:53 p.m. Saturday evening at the VALERO gas station on Knight Arnold Rd. Police told FOX13, the victim left his car running while he was inside the gas station. That’s when someone got in the vehicle and shot the owner of the vehicle when he drove away.
The victim was transported to Regional One in non-critical condition. The suspect is still at large.
The next shooting happened a few hours later in the 600 block of Southern Oaks Place around 9:45 p.m. MPD told FOX13 one man was shot after a fight.
He was transported to Regional One in non-critical condition. One man was detained after the shooting.
The next shooting happened one minute later at 9:46 p.m. in Millington.
The shooting took place at the Commodore Village apartments, which is located at 4486 Babe Howard Boulevard.
Millington Police confirmed with FOX13 two men were shot and transported to Regional One in critical condition.
We have learned one of the victims has been upgraded to serious condition.
The next incident happened around 10:04 p.m. It was a deadly hit and run accident.
The deadly hit and run happened at Weaver and Holmes. Witnesses said the pedestrian was hit as he stumbled into traffic on Weaver.
Two vehicles drove away from the scene.
The madness didn't stop as a triple shooting happened just before midnight.
It happened in the 300 block of Bonita around 11:45 p.m. MPD found three men in the grass who had been shot. Two men were transported in critical condition, and one was treated on the scene.
The victims told police the suspect walked up to them and shot them.
Finally, the shootings didn't stop as we went into Sunday morning. This shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Chelsea.
Police found three victims at the scene who had been shot. One person was critical and the other two were non-critical. All three were transported to Methodist University.
