    Skies are mostly cloudy with a few stray showers.

    Temperatures are in the mid 70s.

    Southwest winds at 3 mph.


    Mostly cloudy, a stray shower. 20%.

    Winds shifting to the north at 5-10 mph.

    Low: 73°


    As a cold front pushes south through the Mid-South, the best chance of rain sets up on Saturday afternoon in northern Mississippi. Lots of dry time otherwise with highs temps in the upper 80s. Heat index near 93°. Rain chance near 20%.

    The front will stall just south of the area on Sunday, keeping again, plenty of dry time around for the second half of the weekend.

    Partly to mostly cloudy with highs well below the seasonal average near 86°.

    Scattered showers push back in late Sunday into Monday. Rain chance gets bumped back up with 40% to start next week.

    Another unsettled weather pattern will keep day to day rain chances in the forecast through most of next week with highs in the upper 80s.

    The humidity factor gets cranked back up by mid-week with the heat index back near 100°+ beginning on Wednesday.
