Temps have rebounded into the mid 80s across the Mid-South with mostly sunny skies and a south wind at 7 mph.
Another hot day is in store through the Mid-South, but the dew points remain comfortable so no “heat index” expected.
Skies remain mostly sunny though the afternoon. Remember the sunscreen! Today’s UV Index is in the “Very High” category and burn times are near 10 minutes today.
Northeast winds at 5 mph.
High: 90° Heat Index: 90°
East winds at 5 mph.
Another sunny and hot day for Wednesday with highs near 89°.
We’re watching a developing tropical system set to push north into the Mid-South bringing in rain chances Thursday through Sunday. This could bring in a significant amount of rainfall over those days.
Scattered showers first on Thursday, 40%. Highs near 86°.
Widespread rain likely Friday into Saturday morning, 60%. Highs near 86° again on Friday and falling into the lower 80s for the weekend.
Rain will begin to taper off Saturday afternoon and evening with only stray showers possible through Sunday.
