• Make-A-Wish: Ways to Help

It’s generous people like you who make it possible for us to grant wishes. Make-A-Wish Mid-South operates solely off of donations. Through multiple fundraisers and events throughout the year, Make-A-Wish is able to grant nearly 675 wishes to local children with life-threatening medical conditions. You can help today by donating, or get involved with Make-A-Wish through other ways to help.

    Donate airline miles

More than 75% of wishes granted by Make-A-Wish Mid-South involve some form of air travel. It’s the single largest wish cost for Make-A-Wish Mid-South. You can help make wishes come true for critically ill children by donating unused airline miles from U.S. Airways, Delta or United through the Wishes in Flight program. Once miles are donated to Make-A-Wish, they never expire, and we group miles together to buy wish trip tickets. Even a few miles can go a long way! Help a child’s wish soar by donating today or call (901) 680-9474.

    Volunteer for Make-A-Wish Mid-South

Make-A-Wish Mid-South works with nearly 500 volunteers across its territory to help grant wishes. Volunteers help with greeting families at airports, they work with wish families to grant a child’s wish, volunteer for Make-A-Wish Mid-South events, or help with fundraising efforts.

    Refer a Child

Without child referrals, Make-A-Wish isn’t able to grant hundreds of wishes each year. We need children to be referred for wishes. A family member, medical professional or potential wish child can refer to Make-A-Wish. Wish eligibility is based off of the child’s medical condition, and the child must be between 2.5 - 18 years old. Do you know a child who needs a wish! Please refer them today here.
