That business owner told FOX13 you should use Lysol wipes to wipe down your car at the end of each day. But there are some products he said you should stay away from because they could cause a problem.

With the coronavirus on everyone’s mind, car detailing businesses are taking calls non-stop.

“It’s going to be at least $25 to $30 apiece because of the coronavirus,” Michael Vincent told FOX13. Vincent owns Father and Son Mobile Detailing.

Since news of the coronavirus, he’s helped out 30 to 40 new customers each week. His goal is to protect them from the coronavirus.

“We want to help everyone whether its a senior citizen anyone who can’t move around due to the coronavirus,” said Vincent.

He told FOX13 if drivers want to clean their own cars they should use Lysol wipes but not Clorox or bleach because it could damage their car.

“Every day give your car a full wipedown - steering wheel, door panels as well,” he said.

Vincent is offering a special discount. He said he wants to help people who can’t usually afford this type of service.

“We got to be able to have a service or have people to stand up for the community,” he said.

Vincent said if you are staying at home, it’s no problem. He’ll travel to you. He’s also making sure his employees are safe by washing their hands and wearing gloves and masks.
