BATESVILLE, Miss. (FOX13) - Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, Miss. A vigil will follow Saturday evening at 5 p.m. at the Batesville Square.

Family and friends and other community members held a visitation service Friday evening for Jessica Chambers, who was killed Dec. 6 after she was burned alive in her car in rural Courtland.

The visitation took place at the Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. The parking lot at Jessica's visitation was absolutely crammed full as friends and family stopped by to pay their respects..

"There really are no words to describe how I feel right now, having to come to a visitation for someone you thought wouldn't be gone," said Alicia Faulkner, Jessica's friend.

"I hope they remember her as fun loving and energetic and outgoing," said Allyssa Cotten, one of Jessica's friends.

"She was real big-hearted and kind and liked to act crazy but she never meant any harm," said Phillip Hentz, one of
    Jessica's friends.

Earlier Friday, it was revealed an $11,000 reward is now being offered for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the murder case.

District Attorney John Champion says Crime Stoppers is providing a $1,000 reward and the U.S. Marshals Office has added an additional $10,000 to that.

DA Champion says investigators have pulled more soil samples from the Panola County site where the 19-year-old was killed in the quest for more evidence.

"I am kind of shocked that this happened and the way it happened how quick she is gone," said Curtis Bledsoe, one of Jessica's friends.

"Anybody with any kind of info on Jessica please come forward! Y'all took an innocent life," said Heather Parker, Jessica's friend.

An official autopsy report was due Friday.

If you have any information in this case you are asked to call North Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 1-800-729-2169.
