A former Burger King worker went out in a blaze of glory for his last day on the  job...by stealing all of the stores chicken nuggets.

Twitter user Zealot from Florida, also known as John, posted a picture to social media of his loot. Bags of the frozen chicken nuggets are lovingly placed in the passenger seat of his car, strapped in with a seatbelt for safety.

In the caption he writes: "TODAY WAS MY LAST DAY WORKING AT BURGER KING SO I TOOK ALL OF THEIR NUGGETS, F*CK IT."

While it may not cost the fast food chain much money, Twitter users have dubbed Zealot a "hero" for sticking it to the man.

"A true AMERICAN hero," writes Poe Dameron.

Some fans, like @KwanWooCha, are even asking the nugget thief to share.

    "Hook me up pls."

But anyone that thinks they are getting their hands on his nuggets, Zealot says he's no fool.

"So funny how all of a sudden people I haven't talked to in months or even years are texting me over chicken nuggets."

No word on if the internet's Chicken King will face any charges.
