Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance told FOX13 that the 13-year-old and the other boy were friends and were playing alone inside of a shop when the 13-year-old boy was burned.

He was rushed to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Later, he was taken to the burn unit in Little Rock, but he did not survive his injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
