$1.3M available to assist Shelby County residents working in hospitality & airline industry

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — For those who work in the hospitality and airline industry in Shelby County, this Friday is the deadline to apply for assistance from the county.

The Division of Community Services will render roughly $1.3M to assist Shelby County residents working in the hospitality and airline industry through the COVID-19 Resident Relief Fund Program.

There are three categories of relief: rent and mortgage assistance, utility assistance, and food and essentials.
