4 people killed in less than 4 hours overnight Thursday in Memphis, police say

Memphis, Tenn. — At least four people are dead after a violent night in Memphis, according to Memphis Police.

The Memphis Police Department reported 4 homicides between 11 p.m. Thursday night and 2:11 a.m. Friday morning.

All of the deaths were due to gun violence, according to police.

Police said the violent night started on North Hollywood St. around 11 p.m. when one man was found shot at a liquor store in North Memphis.

That man was rushed to Regional One Hospital. But, he died there of his injuries, according to police.

MPD then responded to a double shooting at Airways Blvd. and Lamar Avenue around 1:30 am.

Police said that two shooting victims were found dead inside of a car.

Memphis Police then reported a shooting at 2:11 a.m. at a house on Orchi Road.

Police said that a woman was found dead of a gunshot wound at 3713 Orchi Road in Nutbush.
