Ambulance stolen overnight from Memphis hospital, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An ambulance was reportedly stolen in Memphis overnight.

According to Memphis police, paramedics were taking someone in an ambulance to Regional One. The bay was full, so they parked outside and took the patient inside.

While the ambulance was parked outside, someone stole it.

Police said the suspect drove the ambulance to St. Charles Street and Breedlove in North Memphis.

No suspect information has been released.

Police said nothing was taken out of the ambulance.

The investigation is ongoing.
