MEMPHIS, Tenn. — FOX13 has learned more details about the charges a Memphis mother faces following an Amber Alert for her four kids.

Their mother, Jamisha Thomas, 25, remained missing, but turned herself in at Tillman Station Thursday.

Thomas is charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and aggravated child abuse, police records show.
Police responded Sept. 6 to Baptist Pediatrics Hospital after hospital staff examined an 8-month-old baby.
The baby had multiple broken ribs, bruises on her lungs, a broken left arm, and a broken left leg, according to an affidavit.
Health officials determined the injuries were consistent with child abuse.
During an investigation, police determined the baby’s mother, identified as Thomas, was responsible for the baby’s injuries.
