MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A bobcat spent the night in the bumper of a car after being struck late Sunday night.
The Camaro’s owner hit something on Interstate-240 and didn’t see what it was, according to Kelvin Jones, a worker at the body shop.
He took the car to be fixed this morning.
When the employee started working to fix the damage, they saw the animal staring back at him, Jones said.
A wildlife official came to remove the animal. He used a pole to grab the animal and pull it out.
The bobcat survived, but he has a broken leg, Jones said.
FOX13 is working to get more updates on the animal’s condition.
