City Watch canceled for missing 66-year-old man with dementia

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department has canceled a City Watch alert for a missing endangered man.

66-year-old Gregory Odom was last seen around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon walking in the 900 block of Oakview St. near Lamar Ave.

According to police, Odom suffers from dementia.

Last April, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office took to Twitter seeking the public’s help to find Odom after walked away from his residence.

He was found safe a short time later.

Odom is described as 5′6″, weighing 190 lbs., with black and gray hair and a dark complexion.

Police say he was wearing a black baseball cap with a “tailor made” logo, a white golf shirt with long sleeve and a gray shirt underneath, and blue jeans.
