MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputy is in the hospital after being hit by a car.
According to SCSO, the deputy was trying to make a traffic stop near Mendenhall and Flowering Peach Drive.
When the stop was made, the driver of the car hit the deputy.
I’ve counted one evidence marker on the street from my vantage point. But it’s worth noting the scene extends down the street into a neighborhood. @FOX13Memphis pic.twitter.com/z3Yy6Zuw8Z
