MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman that crashed into an MPD officer Sunday night was a school bus driver.

A Durham school spokesperson confirmed to FOX13 that Cadarius Davis was an employee with Durham School Services, but was “immediately removed from service, pending the outcome of the investigation.”

At the time of the incident, Davis was not on the job and was not driving a bus, she was driving her personal vehicle.

Cadarius Davis, 32, crashed into an MPD officer that was in his car with blue lights on blocking the southbound lanes of McLean, near Overton Park.

David was arrested and charged with child neglect, failure to exercise due care, driving under the influence, violation of financial law, public intoxication, reckless driving, and vehicular assault after she crashed her car into a police officer on McLean Blvd, according to police.

FOX13 has confirmed that the officer injured is now stable.
