Suspects on the run after shooting at Dyersburg apartment, police say

MEMPHIS,Tenn. — Dyersburg police are searching for four gunmen who they said shot a man outside his apartment.

According to police, 19-year-old Erick Holland Jr. was shot Wednesday around 5:00 p.m. on Fisher Circle.

Holland was walking into his apartment when four people fired shots and then fled in an unknown car, police said.

Officials said the apartment and a nearby car were struck by bullets multiple times.

Holland was initially treated at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital, then transferred to Regional One in Memphis, where his condition is unknown.

Detectives are asking for anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information to call Crime Stoppers at 285-TIPS.
