Elementary class quarantined after teacher tests positive for COVID-19

CROSS COUNTY, Ark. — An elementary teacher in the Cross County School District has tested positive for COVID-19.

Four employees and one class will be required to quarantine. The class will participate in remote learning during the isolation period.

The district shared the information Thursday evening on its Facebook page.

District employees and parents of students who may have come in contact with the teacher were contacted and notified.

“We must work together to combat this virus and stay in school,” the district said.
