Once the person responsible for the threat has been identified, they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and school board policy, the district said.

Fayette-Ware High is in Somerville, Tenn.

Last week, the school was shut down for a time after a social media threat to blow up the school.

That threat showed a picture of a hand holding a gun with a caption threatening to shoot up the school, the sheriff’s office said.
