FAYETTE COUNTY, Tenn. — Fayette County Schools said Tuesday another threat was made through social media against Fayette-Ware High School.
Officials said law enforcement was contacted immediately.
Once the person responsible for the threat has been identified, they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and school board policy, the district said.
Fayette-Ware High is in Somerville, Tenn.
Last week, the school was shut down for a time after a social media threat to blow up the school.
That threat showed a picture of a hand holding a gun with a caption threatening to shoot up the school, the sheriff’s office said.
