MEMPHIS, Tenn. — MPD has issued a “Safety Alert” due to fentanyl deaths on the rise in Memphis.
Police said the increase is due to fake pills being sold on the street, or online.

Counterfeit Oxycodone and Percocet pills are sold and likely contain Fentanyl.
These are also called M-30, V48, and A215 pills and can be found in white powders, police said.
Call 911 in case of an overdose.
