Four suspects identified in interstate shooting, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Four suspects have been identified in an interstate shooting that happened in November.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. November 29 on north I-240 at Poplar Avenue in the Midtown area. One person was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

According to police, officers responded to an Aggravated Assault on the scene of an accident at I-240 and Poplar Avenue November 29. The victim was transported to Regional One in critical condition due to injuries from the accident and a gunshot wound to his right side.

The victim told officers several shots were fired at him. After the victim was hit, a man approached the victims’ vehicle and began to strike him multiple times in the face with a pistol, and demanded his property along with the PIN to his bank card. The man fled the scene with several other male suspects.

Warrants have been issued for Criminal Attempt Felony-To Wit: First Degree Murder and Employment of Firearm During Commission of a Dangerous Felony for the suspects.
