MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after an overnight fire at a home in Frayser, according to Memphis Fire officials.
The blaze happened at a home in the 3100 block of Range Line Road.

Memphis Fire officials confirmed a call about the fire came in at 3:27 a.m. The fire was under control by 4:06 a.m.

Two people were inside the home, a husband and wife.
The wife suffered minor burns to her hands and was not taken to the hospital.
Her husband was rushed to Regional One in critical condition, but he later died at the hospital, MFD said.
His name and age have not been released pending positive identification and notification of next of kin, officials said.
The home did not have a working smoke alarm.
The home sustained smoke, fire and water damage.
Fire officials estimated the damage at $70,000.
The fire was determined to be accidental. Electrical equipment malfunctioned in a vehicle in the attached carport, officials said.
No firefighters were injured in the blaze.
