They are gathered at the Ridgeway loop and Poplar avenue. This rally is part of a nationwide event called Nobody is Above the Law.

Organizers said the purpose is to urge Congress to impeach the President.

A vote is scheduled for Wednesday by the full House on whether to impeach Trump, setting up a trial in the U.S. Senate for sometime in January. The Senate would decide if the charges are true and if Trump is to be removed from office as a result.

The House vote follows a contentious House Judiciary Committee vote in which two articles of impeachment were recommended for the full House to consider.

The two articles of impeachment that were approved accuse Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress during the investigation of the abuse of power.

The abuse of power charge claims Trump withheld a White House meeting and $391 million in military aid until Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky announced investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
