TENNESSEE — UPDATE: 3:03 P.M.

All lanes on I-55 South near the Mississippi River bridge are back open after the hazardous spill forced traffic to close for several hours, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation.

A hazardous spill on I-55 heading into Memphis causes lanes to close, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.

All the southbound lanes are closed for over 4 miles.

An accident on I-55 in Tennessee involved an overturned tractor-trailer with a diesel hazmat spill, a release said.

All traffic should be diverted to I-40.
