One Shelby County health department location closed due to power outage

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One Shelby County Health Department location is closed Friday due to a power outage.

The location at 1826 Sycamore View is closed.

The site houses the Environmental Permits Office, different ecological wellbeing workplaces, and the Shelby Crossing Public Health Clinic.

All appointments booked for today for Family Planning and other facility administrations will be booked at one of the Health Department’s other general wellbeing centers, SCHD said.

All Vital Records services will be accessible at the Health Department at 814 Jefferson Ave.

The site is expected to reopen on Monday, Dec. 20, 8:00 a.m, SCHD said.
