How to enter a lottery for $10 Hamilton tickets at Orpheum

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The musical Hamilton will be performing in Memphis.

The Orpheum Theatre will host all performances from December 21 through January 2.

For each show, 40 tickets will be given away.

$10 tickets will be given away to the selected winners.

For tickets to performances December 21 through December 26, the lottery will commence at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10 and close at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16.

Following that, digital lotteries will begin on Friday and end on Thursday for the following week’s performances.


  • Use the official app for HAMILTON, now available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store (
  • Every Friday at 10:00 a.m., the lottery will open for entries and close at 12:00 p.m. the following Thursday, prior to the next week’s performances.
  • Every Thursday between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, winners will be notified through email and mobile push notifications for the next week’s performances. Winners will have two hours to claim their prize and pay for it (s).
  • To enter or participate, no purchase or payment is required.
  • Each winner is allowed to buy up to two (2) tickets.
  • There is a limit of one entry per person. Repeated entries and email addresses are no longer valid and will be removed.
  • With a valid photo ID, lottery tickets can be picked up at will call beginning two hours before the show.
  • If a lottery ticket is resold, it becomes void.
  • All times are in UTC (Universal Time).


Patrons must be at least 18 years old and present a valid, non-expired photo ID that matches the name on the entry form. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Ticket limitations and prices are set at the show’s discretion and are subject to change at any time without notice.

Prior purchases are not eligible for lottery prices. There are no other offers or promotions that can be combined with the lottery ticket offer. There are no refunds or exchanges on any purchases. Without notice, the lottery may be withdrawn or amended at any time. A purchase will have no effect on your chances of winning.
