Ja Morant enters health and safety protocols, Grizzlies say

MEMPHIS, Tenn, — Memphis Grizzlies star Jar Morant has entered health and safety protocols the team announced Wednesday.

Morant is the first Grizzlies player this season to be entered.

Morant has been sidelined with a knee injury for the past few games.

A timetable for his return from that is still unclear.

ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted that Morant is fully vaccinated and has had his booster shot.

Memphis is set to play the Dallas Mavericks at the FedExForum Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
