LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Miss. — Lafayette County middle and high schools are going partially virtual at least till Thanksgiving.

The school district took to social media to announce the hybrid learning.

The schools stated:

For the continued health and safety of our staff and students, the LMS and LHS (7-12th grade) students will return to a hybrid schedule beginning Tuesday, November 10, 2020. This only applies to LMS & LHS students. The elementary students will remain on their regular schedule.

Both the middle and high schools will remain on the Red and Gold schedule until the Thanksgiving Holiday at which point the administration will re-evaluate, school officials said.

The red team will report to school on Nov. 10.

Teams:

  • Red Team (Last names A-L) will report to school Mondays and Tuesdays
  • Gold Team (Last names M-Z) will report to school Thursdays and Fridays
  • Virtual Days for both teams: Wednesdays

  • Anchor Baptist Church
